The family behind Toto Melts.
Toto Melts is a small, family-rooted brand with one quiet devotion: to make a first food worthy of a child's very first bites. We take ancient Ethiopian teff and shape it into light, airy sticks that melt gently, with nothing added that doesn't belong.
It began with Daniel Agegnehu, who grew up in the Ethiopian highlands where teff has nourished families for generations. He carried one belief into everything we make: the beginning of life deserves the most thoughtful food, and the simplest ingredients are often the best.
Toto Melts has moved beyond concept stage. The core formula direction was developed with third-party food commercialization support, university pilot work has been completed, and we are now preparing for first production with the right manufacturing partner.

Teff is one of the world's oldest cultivated grains, harvested across the Ethiopian highlands long before it reached the rest of the world. It is tiny, thousands of seeds to a single handful, and known for naturally occurring iron, calcium, fiber, and plant protein.
We transform it into light, airy sticks that melt gently for little ones, honoring the grain exactly as it has always been: simple, whole, and nourishing.
